Save the Children’s Saving Newborn Lives program (SNL) works with ministries of health and partners to develop and strengthen na onal newborn programs, including the integra on of community‐based care into exis ng health systems. There is a need to understand how well health systems are func oning, especially given that service delivery pla orms are very different across countries and there are challenges in scaling up services in any resource limited environment.
